I was surprised and relieved that it went as smoothly as it did, and the breadth and depth of our conversation was excellent for three admittedly shy geeks just meeting each other for the first time. Having at least the game and blogging in common helped, but it was also helpful to have the base of knowledge that comes with having read each other’s blogs as well. For instance, I knew from Twitter and your blog that you had a 2 year old and worked in a bank, so I was armed with a few tidbits of information to get the conversation flowing again when we hit a low patch.
All in all, I’d say it was a tremendous success, and I look forward to getting together again!
